In my youth, I was a musician and a great user of portable music. I at the time, few protected my ears and today I behind tinnitus. If I had had ear plugs to attenuate the decibels, I would not have this health problem irreversible. Compared to caps sold in a pharmacy, the Alpine PartyPlug are washable and reusable. They stand gladly in the beautiful and strong storage box provided. You can use them during concerts, in discos or during practice of a musical instrument. Its design is that it attenuates the sound level while keeping a certain coherence of sound (as opposed to caps yellow filter stupidly and which significantly degrade the listening in a concert). Attenuation by frequency :- 125 hZ : 14, 8 dB - 250 Hz : 15, 0 dB - 500 Hz : 15, 7 dB - 1000 Hz : 18, 7 dB - 2000 Hz : 26, 6 dB - 4000 Hz : 24, 4 dB - 8000 Hz : 18, 9 dBElles are very comfortable to use. It is vital to place in the ear for true effectiveness. It is recommended to use the mini accessory plastic provided to facilitate the placement in the ear, and to remove in a clean way (to avoid touching them with dirty hands or dropping to the ground). I even use it when I need full concentration to work and I don't want to be bothered by a noisy environment. Admittedly, the effectiveness of the Alpine PartyPlug don't use the ear plugs custom moulded (cost : 150€), but given the mini price, they are a low and an excellent investment, as well as an ideal companion for musicians and fans of shows filled. Protection a little flexible to put in place, but there is the adapter. We understand rather well the conversations (I did repeat a little more than if I don't have caps, but when there is noise, we repeat it anyway). Maracas received roses, well it was for 1 year of a little boy so it's a bit of a shame. Especially as this is not indicated that the batches can be different from the photo.... To enjoy a concert without having the ears in sauce, nothing such as hearing protections. They are doing exactly what they are designed, attenuates without loss of sound quality, I've removed a star because I have a little trouble keeping them non-stop for 1 hour... but maybe this is normal ^^After 4 gigs, I wouldn't be me without it. I recommend, especially at this price!!! This is my second pair in Alpine. This model is the entry level and the price is more than reasonable. I use it for concerts and to play the drums (alternating with a closed helmet, more effective but more heavy and warm ears). The problem with these caps is always the same: they limit too much the high frequencies. Damage. No difference when playing the first time with. Then after several hours of use, if one likes to take its good old baguettes, we understand what it mean to be "Anti-vibes".
